I don't agree with the board as I read Maus when I was in middle school but at the same time the board is not what people are accusing them of.
The board voted unanimously to remove the Pulitzer Prize-winning graphic novel from classrooms because it contained swear words, according to minutes from the meeting

They removed it from the 8th grade curriculum. Are you making the semantic argument that preventing it from being taught in classroom is not the same as banning?
