Here's her testimony from Aug. 23: "It is NOT safe to return to in person instruction. Advertising it as such is a recipe for disaster."

It was partly anti-Trump. She won nationwide attention last year for her anti-Trump posturing. Also, she was a useless negotiator with WTU. She tried the my way or the highway approach with the WTU which spectacularly backfired. Dumb move on her part and it cost us a lot

Democrats decided it was more important to be friends with teachers unions than to allow children to attend school. Republicans don't care about teachers unions so they sided with kids.
