Same here. My kid's risk of getting and having ill effects from Covid is infinitesimally low. I am waiting for Janney or will wait another few weeks. It's not worth my time to stand in line.

How many Janney parents do you know that would wait 2 weeks after the shots were approved to get their kids vaxxed? Mine were vaxxed last weekend.
Right, I think the Janney clinic will have plenty of available shots. I do know some people who have been waiting, but only because they didn't already get an appointment somewhere mildly inconvenient.

My kids third grade class had 4 kids who were vaccinated. Apparently it was a question asked at morning meeting? Anyway it’s ward 3.

Agreed. We are at a different W3 elementary and I would say just based on casual reporting from my kid that at least 50% of her class has already had shot #1. Our school has not yet had a pop up.

The clinic at Janney isn't supposed to be just for its students -- it's open to anyone in the city, same as the other public clinics are. I don't think anyone needs to feel sorry for the poor underserved Janney students.

Uh my charter also has its own clinic for just students at the school. So not just private schools.

A large percentage of my kids' classes at Janney have already gotten a shot, based on what my kids are reporting. Seems possible it won't be such a mess.
