My DH has bad hips, and it doesn't hurt his hip to walk at a slower speed. It does hurt if he is standing/walking for too long.
Did you never take walks with your child? Did you just drag your kid along so you could walk at your speed?
Exactly, this is bull. Your stride and your pace are two different things.
My kid has always been faster than me, so no need for them to keep up, but when I do have to slow down for my elderly mother it hurts to take the smaller and slower steps.
