The word on the street is that KL was not given a renewal at GC or Rush. Hence ending up at a very desperate BSC looking to add a coach to shake things up. I guess he’s shaken things up pretty well so far. LOL.

Lol this is not "getting back on topic". OP asked about finding a club in Bethesda. Crazy girl soccer parents hijack every Bethesda (city) thread to love or hate bsc and whoever KL or DG are.

Sorry you had a bad experience. Was certainly the correct decision from your standpoint HOWEVER

1. Where you went wrong is your accusation of KL being fired. That is slander since there has been nothing to support that accusation other than here say.
2. "They"? Again, more here say and opinions. Again nobody is held at knife point to stay on a team if they feel it is too much. Have you ever heard of the saying "mentally tough" or "thick skin" or "can take criticism". All of those things are considered excellent qualities when joining the work force when they get older.
3. Brainwashed? "We should stop making making him mad?" This whole point of yours is a complete opinion hit piece as calling a youth coach a "tyrant" is a dead give away.

If you are looking for a top level club, get out and find what works best for your DC. R. Burke was cancelled because of one player complaint along with a few anonymous claims yet the guy has coached 1000s of players of his years. So reading this thread, it sounds those who left had kids who couldn’t hack it? Either mentally or ability wise? For those that left, did your kid do well at another club and still compete at the level of BSC?

The ole discovery player with mom rolling out the back round checks and fake dramatic quotes. Now she's free and happy from a very dark period of her life...and of course...mom feels bad for those they left behind. Translation - daughter ain't good, can't play soccer and doesn't belong in sports so mom comes on a nameless blog for therapy and to take free shots at coach and club. No one is defending anyone...you are entitled to you opinion. Since your daughter was abused...what did you do about it? you came on a nameless blog and trashed people? Well done.
