When you married him, you took on his obligation to his other daughter as well.
My husband and I have been happily married for almost 20 years and have never had a joint bank account. We got married in our 30s and each had our own careers and money. He pays for certain things, I pay for certain things. It has never been a problem. We consider all the money "our" money and have never seen a need to put it together in one account.
I think having separate accounts when you're like this is fine. My husband and I are the same, although we do have a joint account that we use for mortgage and car payments and our joint credit card because it's just easier for us to contribute X out of our paychecks to cover that. But clearly it isn't working for OP.

OP said that her husband pays for the mortgage of a condo. Is the condo also OP’s? If the condo is only in your husband’s name, then it does not matter how much he pays, he is not contributing to your family at all.
If he pays for the house where you are living together AND the house is in both of your names, then just make sure that whatever you pay and whatever he pays is commensurate to your paycheck… that’s it.
It is confusing and weird but I do believe they keep dual residences, there is a house but husband has his condo but he mostly lives in the house? So the condo is a kind of getaway.
