End of March is the best JO birthday. Aging up right after the meet is the advantage.

I don't think that August great at all. I feel like almost any month there is an issue. I still go back to a June 2 is the best.

Please explain which meet is bad for an august bday.

The real answer is almost none. Kid ages up in august. First meet likely in sept and/or Oct, but those are small meets and not really consequential. Same with November. Great if kid makes a cut but nbd if he doesn’t bc there are lots more chances. First biggish meets are in Dec.

In the end you want the birthday RIGHT before whichever meet is important to you.

If this is the approach, then you aren’t really qualifying for higher level meets OR are one of the few superstars.
