They can put out an invitation to their “launch party” but not their position on screening testing at APS?

I bet that post is the OP trolling as APE. Do people seriously believe shit on DCUM? You can get some juicy gossip and good info on this site. But I would NOT a rely on attribution.

APE's official statements are approved by the organization and definitely not officially released via DCUM anonymous post.

But as a member, let me plug again our awesome social events. You'll meet tons of great people with kids who live here in Arlington too.

And Arlington notables!

It's pretty telling APE thinks parents aren't meeting other parents already

People avoid you for a reason, APE

So they want test to stay?

That isn't what the CDC says.

Great, now we have a group of pushy parents lobbying APS to ignore CDC, the actual health experts.

We all know they oppose it.

Just like masks.

I'm not a troll and I don't want to join the newsletter just to understand their positions. Is there an archive of the newsletters that is public?

Why is it so difficult to share APE's position on masks, screening, CRT, vouchers?

I think the abundance of the word “grassroots” on the website is a tell. If you need to keep saying it…

Oh please it doesn't have to be on DCUM. You know that.

APE knows how to get the word out. They are lobbyists. They have their newsletters, press releases, etc.

They don't want to answer these questions, but they want your money!

Why hasn’t APE issued a statement on the withdrawal of troop from Afghanistan, or climate change policy, or raising the minimum wage, or the speed cameras!!!?? They issue statements on the issues they are advocating on. Their website talks about their views on testing and quarantining. They don’t talk about CRT intentionally. It’s a fake issue.

They don’t have a statement on screening. Just what happens if a student is a close contact (which is defined very narrowly at APS so not a big issue).

It's going to be a great event. 1 of many social events we have.

Must be having trouble getting people to go if they are stooping to advertising on DCUM.

Sounds like a Covidfest to me.

Let us know if you find the answers in there. I don't think you will.

Very telling that APE won't answer these basic questions.

I remember APE didn't like concurrent last year and lobbied against kids at home being able to access their classes virtually.

So now we kids out on quarantine just have asynchronous work which I think is much worse.
