At least one person who says this? Christ, what nonsense get spewed on this board. She announced that she wants more of "her own" at a school open house, a year ago in front of at least four dozen prospective parents, making it perfectly clear that she was referring to AA kids.
Many of us hung around after the open house to compare reactions - we were uniformly annoyed, it not disgusted. Somebody should have recorded her and gone to the press and her higher ups. If Cobbs were good for the neighborhood, the neighborhood would be there after PreK, vs. a small number of IB (truly IB, not address cheating) families.
