Also Bigs secretary?
And liking the return of Susan Sharon
See, a few posts back a poster mentioned the flowers were a dig at Kim. I actually took Susan Sharon’s ranting and Carrie being confused as the real shade towards Kim. Anyone else?
Wait, what was the reason they had a falling out? I don’t remember the storyline and I didn’t even recognize the Sharon Susan character. Did it have something to do with Samantha?
Well I thought the conversation with Miranda and Carrie about how Samantha just thought of Carrie as an ATM and didn't talk to her or Charlotte after the falling out and that CB had reached out over and over to mend the fence was the shade at KC!
So maybe the whole first two episodes were filled with subtle shade at KC, making it all the less mysterious why she didn't come back!
I didn’t assume that was shade. KC didn’t come back, so it had to be addressed somehow. Just having her move to London while they all stayed friends would have been dissatisfying when she literally never made an appearance, even by phone. Yes, we got only one side of the falling out, because only one character was telling that the story. It doesn’t take much imagination to realize there had to be more to it than just the PR thing from Samantha’s side since she stopped talking to all of them. If anything, I think the show went out of its way not to demonize Samantha (and therefore KC) by having her send the flowers for Big’s funeral. A person who just didn’t give a shit anymore wouldn’t have done that. And I think Carrie letting the flowers remain was a sign that on some level she got that Samantha had her own side too and took the flowers as forgiveness. If all Carrie had was self-righteous anger toward Samantha, she wouldn’t have allowed Samantha to intrude on Big’s funeral like that.

The reality of a middle aged woman in a sexless marriage, a challenging young adult son, and at a professional crossroads should be way more interesting than this is.

And seeing two 50something women sitting together, looking very attractive with natural faces, was refreshing. Meanwhile, Charlotte's mouth work is so distracting, ugh, and affects her speech.
Natasha is in her late 40s probably. She younger than Carrie, which was a big deal in SATC. Carrie is a crazy stalker lady. Props for SJP making it light and not too scary. But I'd like to watch the horror movie edit of that,

Anyone have a favorite outfit or accessory? I liked Carries very first scene with printed jacket over cream flowy jumpsuit.
I liked the outfit she wore to the recital.
+1 and Patricia Field is bringing back the flower accessories.

And Miranda's !!!Drinking!!! Problem!!! is so stupidly . . . . can it even be called "telegraphed'? Megaphoned?
This is such an odd criticism. The whole series will only be 10 episodes, so there isn’t enough time to do a full story arc on Miranda’s drinking issues while also addressing other story lines if they spend five episodes subtly hinting that she might not have a healthy relationship with drinking.

Why do you care if it gets further seasons?
