For a two year old team, VLC 2025 continues to outperform a lot of other team in the mid atlantic! Nice W this past weekend and competitive every week in AAA division. Great families and great players. Will only get better as these guys move into and through HS. Lots of chatter about great players from other clubs coming to tryouts this summer!

If you are rating a program based on how many kids are playing at the professional level that might be the most laughable thing ever. Not just for lacrosse (though probably especially for lacrosse) but for all sports, judging by the numbers in the professional ranks is foolhardy.

Yes...both the 2021 and 2022 teams improved since middle school. Combination of improved play and adding new talent.

Were the 2021 and 2022 teams getting more competitive through high school? That's not something I had heard from parents.

Under this coach you are 2-6-2 at tournaments and 0-3 in HoCo. If this is “improvement” since last year then what would “no improvement” look like? If your coach is doing his job, then the kids on your team must be un-coachable or something.

“When are your coaches going to start doing their jobs?” is the real question here. Personally I would expect more considering what you’re probably paying them.

Not a 2025 parent but others can know VLC is one of the lower cost lacrosse options

I'm not sure why but VLC despite its success at placing its players at top programs consistently over the last decade has never transformed into a money grab situation. I still can't figure out why not. Shit I would if I were running the place. They are men of integrity who care about the game and the boys I guess. I once tried to figure out their per hour pay and seriously it was way below minimum wage. thank you bros for having your priorities straight and being great role models for our boys

Does he go to Landon or some such school where you're paying upwards of 50K per year? Not all private schools are created equal. Lots of PVI and DJO kids on VLC and there is nothing fancy about those schools. Check the rosters of NL for example with the roster of your kid. Enough said.

I agree that club teams like Madlax, Next Level and DCE get “credit” for college commits even though the private school had just as much to do with it (in terms of lacrosse quality, likely full pay ability, and academic prowess). What I liked about VLC is that while they do have their fair share of fancy pants private school kids, they place just as many public school kids at the colleges, many of whom play at the high D1 level.
