This thread should be renamed to the Ike and Tina Turner show

Keep the propaganda going, I’m sure it’s really working. LOL
Also factually incorrect: when I've posted valid criticisms, I've gotten zero push back.
Good for you; you must be special! Many valid criticisms here have been attacked, not just RSD's.
Oh dear, someone didn’t agree with a valid criticism, they must be zealots!

The Barca folks again tried to frame their position in other ways why they were happy. Then critics simply called them zealots and propagandist.
And here you are, a reporter saying nothing more than, “no, I just don’t like you.” Which is the gist of what all the critics have simply been saying. And that is still just a deflection and has nothing to do with the original basic question of the club. So now that you have admitted what your issue is, it is time for others to simply do the same and just move on from the thread because you or many of the other “critics” are not legitimately interested in the actual club.
I'm not sure I can make this any clearer ...
1. I am not criticizing Barca. I'm in no position to do so. I think they may have placed some of their teams in leagues for which they weren't prepared, but that happens. It's not a big deal.
2. I AM criticizing people who react to even the slightest question as if we're all spitting on Cruyff's grave.
Sure you're not.

I know -- you can't judge solely by results. But if you're claiming to attract players who've won elsewhere, and now they're losing, it's awfully difficult to call that progress."
Nothing critical in that at all.
You literally turned "two" into "tons." How Trumpian of you.
Nothing in that is critical of the club. It’s critical of you.
No, I never made any of those claims. I wasn't involved in the discussion about players moving at all. I only got involved to address your dishonest attack, and then your equally dishonest attempt at walking it back when others called you on it.
Thin skinned much?

I have no issue with valid criticisms of what Barca is lacking. I've posted a few myself. RSD's "gist of it post" was factually incorrect. That's not being defensive; that's expecting anyone - most of all a journalist - to post accurate information. If someone doesn't, then that poster should expect to be called out on it. RSD is no exception.
gist
noun
1. the substance or essence of a speech or text.
Feel free to disagree with my assessment of the "gist" of those pages. You can say it's hyperbole.
To say it's "factually incorrect" is itself factually incorrect.
Also, headlines in The Onion aren't real. They're just painfully close.
