Spring semester is going much better as she has more time for other things. Don't push your kids into this, because once they get to college they will fall apart if they don't love the sport and are not on the same level as the other players.

Top 50 D1 team out of a total of 82 D1 teams. That’s impressive.

My DD had a D1 offer from a top 15 school (academic rank). But did not take it. So you need to check your assumptions. And maybe be a little nicer.

Anonymous wrote:The point is she was good enough to play at the highest level of college hockey. Such a talented player and phenomenal all around athlete. She also excelled at ballet and figure skating. She moved so gracefully. And smart. My daughter was so smart. She just picked up things like a sponge. She could have gone to Juilliard for piano.
I read your posts about your average children and I just feel so sorry for you. Oh, how you have failed as parents.

I am so sorry to read this. It’s upsetting to hear about a talented DD being undermined by a club coach. It’s crazy how much the club coaches can influence your daughter’s recruiting especially when it’s not a favorable solution. Unfortunately you hear about it all of the time with many DMV coaches. Usually it’s too late to do anything about it since it happened behind her back before you realized their nefarious actions. Trust in the recruiting process is a difficult thing. If your daughter is not an obvious favorite….RUN!
