Anyone have a favorite outfit or accessory? I liked Carries very first scene with printed jacket over cream flowy jumpsuit.

Also Bigs secretary?
And liking the return of Susan Sharon
See, a few posts back a poster mentioned the flowers were a dig at Kim. I actually took Susan Sharon’s ranting and Carrie being confused as the real shade towards Kim. Anyone else?
Wait, what was the reason they had a falling out? I don’t remember the storyline and I didn’t even recognize the Sharon Susan character. Did it have something to do with Samantha?
Well I thought the conversation with Miranda and Carrie about how Samantha just thought of Carrie as an ATM and didn't talk to her or Charlotte after the falling out and that CB had reached out over and over to mend the fence was the shade at KC!
So maybe the whole first two episodes were filled with subtle shade at KC, making it all the less mysterious why she didn't come back!

it's kind of sad how obsessed they are with KC going her own way that they (probably like 90% SJP) feel the need to shade her for it. Sorry she didn't want to put up with your abuse on set and in her portrayals, guys! What a dummy, amiright?![]()
Yup. They idolize SJP. She was mean to Kim. SJP is so self centered. Me, Me, Me.
Team Kim Cattrall, here.
So everyone was mean to Kim Cattrall but she didn’t contribute to not being liked? The saying on DCUM is if everyone has a problem with you maybe look inward.
It wasn’t a everyone she’s ever worked with — past coworkers have only good things to say about her. It was just this small group of people at one place of employment.
And the prevailing saying on DCUM is that you can only control your actions. If someone is treating you badly, leave. Find people who appreciate you. That’s the advice we give to women dating a man who’s unkind. That’s the advice we give to parents of a kid who’s being bullied. That’s the advice we give everyone. If KC was on DCUM she would have quit sex and the city a long time ago.

It was clearly the right call to bring it back. I think a lot of people are "hate watching."
I was not a huge fan of the original, though I was a viewer and I guess a low key fan. I eventually got around to seeing the movies. And I will watch the rest of AJLT. Why? I can't say. I guess nostalgia.
I'm a PP. I was a huge fan of SATC back in the day. The movies were absolutely terrible. But I really am interested in seeing good TV about middle aged women and am hopeful that AJLT could become that. That said, the first two episodes were pretty terrible. I'm not "hate watching" though. A reviewer I heard who has seen the whole season says it gets better after episode four. Hoping this is true. If not, then my hope for decent TV featuring the challenges of middle age will remain unfulfilled.
