If you’re not a VRSC parent, I’m genuinely curious why you’re so invested in this blog. I can’t imagine an adult with no connection to the club regularly checking it and commenting. Most parents barely have time as it is. Unless you’re actively shopping for clubs, which clearly doesn’t seem to be the case. It’s just hard to understand the motivation.

I’m actually glad VRSC is attracting talent. My daughter had CC many years ago at FCV, and he is a great coach. I can already see the club growing with CC in charge. The same thing happened at FCV once things started changing and improving, everyone eventually migrated over.

Cc is a total dck. BP is the one who led fcv to the next level and he’s proven this at VDA. Cc’s days are numbered.

VRSC ga parents may be the most delusional parents I’ve ever seen. This blog proves it.

Coming from a parent at the club and on a GA team-Coaching slate announced is amazing. With as many girls coming to practice from different clubs I do not think anyone that actually plays on one of these teams are worried about GFR invasion. First time seeing this chat and oh my sounds like adults that did not get what they wanted. I have actually encouraged parents part of the club to speak up. This feed is actually ridiculous.

Saw the coaching slates announced. No more MJ on the girls side?
Get ready for the GFR invasion for U16 and U14.

You sound like you have no idea what you are talking about nor do you have a kid that plays on a ga team. If you want to speak to a parent that actually has a child at the club please let me know. I have no problem sending you my number.
These posts sound like they’re coming from people who either got the boot or their player may not make the team. The changes being made are actually good and necessary.
If we want a competitive edge, we need tougher coaches and a more serious environment. The parents of players who truly want to play at a high level are happy with this direction and are not afraid to compete against better players.

What this really sounds like is a group of unhappy coaches who didn’t get what they wanted, along with parents who now have to tell their players that playing time must be earned. Competing for minutes is how it’s supposed to be.

Except just kicking the ball half field doesn't mean your child is good. These coaches seem clueless to this fact. Proven in their own competition.

Definitely not responding to my own posts. I like having positive commentary. Someone said the players coming in are not second tier players. Does that mean they’re 1st tier players? If they are better players why isn’t that a good thing? Don’t we want to become better?

That’s great that VRSC is attracting better talent to come and compete for minutes.
