Wow! 2-0 vs SSSA in past year? That is so impressive. I didn’t even know they played. Oakton sounds even better than advertised.

Even though Oakton beat SSSA twice in the fall, I’m not ready to predict a victory against the full team. SSSA may no longer be top 20 nationally, but compared to publics, they are still pretty stacked with talent.

The lightning sirens will go off at SSSAS before Oakton can beat them….

Oakton can not hang with all the local privates, that’s fake news. However, they actually might have a chance defeating sssa, since sssa is not as strong this year. Should be a very interesting match up

Haters gonna hate... The coaching criticism on these pages from parents who could never do it is always a special element.

The offense is clicking. You can say it comes from the "need to pass" , or maybe it's from structure, practice, and trust between the players. Generally, those things comes from coaching and drilling, and building team chemistry, not spontaneously.

Battlefield Battlefield Battlefield. That is the answer to every question asked. Enough said.

Madison/Oakton, Robinson/Woodson, and Langley/Yorktown have historically been the top teams in their Districts. Concord District as a whole has stronger lacrosse programs this year than any other District. Prediction for Region D Final is going to be 1 of the 3 teams facing each other (Madison, Oakton, or Centreville). On the other side it’ll be Robinson vs Woodson at their Region Final. And while these NoVa teams battle it out to make it to states, patiently waiting will be Battlefield who has the talent and depth to compete with whichever team they match up against for states.

The end.

Original analyst and other posters seemed to miss on strength of Madison seniors (4 D1 commits; probably should be 5), the talent in the sophomore class, and a key Junior and Freshman or two. They don't rely on one player so the collective strength can get overlooked.

And give the coach some credit. Madison girls seem to have great team chemistry and culture this year. Lots of lax to play (next week in particular) but should be an exciting end to the year.

And the complete misread on Madison? How do you explain that? No one had them on their top lists this year. Nobody

i love how posters try to discredit others without posting the truth of what others are saying. Case in point, the last postings. READ the entire post and understand what the poster is saying instead of posting half and trying to discredit others..
Pure comedy this thread
