Seriously manic…. I feel embarrassed for her kids who have to endure that weirdness. It feels sorta like everything is building towards a catastrophic meltdown, which I sincerely hope doesn’t happen.

I imagine it going down like one of those funny memes that reads, “I’m fine, we’re fine, it’s fine, everything is fine….EVERYTHING IS FINE!!!!!”

It's just another face she puts on to score social cred. Kansas is about as Texas as Oregon is to California. Huge eye roll, YA'LL. Tomorrow Little Miss Eminem will be saying she's always been the biggest and more devoted Willie Nelson superfan of all time. She ahs all the Willie Nelson receipts!

Jen actually grew up in Kansas. I’ve never understood the whole “I’m so Texan” thing. Girl is from KANSAS.

Nauseating "Cool Mom Energy" regarding these Superbowl halftime posts. Such a try-hard! She was like this for the Broadway shows she went to.

A woman of her age acting like this is so so cringe.

As stated above, early 90s Jen was toe-tappin' to Suzy Bogus and Tricia Yearwood in rural ass Oklahoma. If she was within 100 miles of a Dr Dre CD I would be shocked.

Lol. Yep.
Nothing says “girl power” and “crush the patriarchy” like getting all hot and heavy for *checks notes* Eminem?

Despite her flaws, I liked Jen. But the way that she has vilified brandon online is disgusting, no matter what he did, and I’ve lost respect for her. I suspect parental alienation, altho that seems to be on the mend. Her martyr complex is really hard to watch.

Wait, how has she vilified Brandon? I feel like she’s said almost nothing about him. Yes, she talks about the pain of getting divorced etc, but she’s been very quiet about him specifically. Or did I miss something?

I really haven’t seen any vilification… maybe just vague references of stuff? She certainly hasn’t put him on full blast. But, maybe her handling it is just keeping it at the forefront of her brand. Which, to be fair to her, is how she’s made a living. I imagine she’s made a pretty good living through what I believe to be a somewhat disingenuous heir of transparency in her life. So, she kinda has to mention the pain, healing, reflection, blah, blah, blah, without being specific to continue with her livelihood. The other option maybe to shut it all down, but that would turn the cash flow off. I’m a bit jaded, but I think it all boils down to ego and cash, neither of which she is going to jeopardize.

🤔 did one of the generations have a bad headache?

Not that I’m aware of. But certainly other ailments in the family.

Tell us what you know about the divorce and the events leading up to it.

This!

I do not know the exact reasons. Their inner circle is very, very tight. The sheltons, the Pruitt’s, a few others. It should be noted that Tray and Brandon used to be BFFs and it appears they no longer speak.

Jen - who was a Jennifer to everyone pre-fame - didn’t really mingle with those outside the inner circle. Even before she was “famous”. She was known for being pretty unreliable. Like if one of us had a baby & she signed up to bring a meal, probably be ready to order pizza. She just wasn’t a very good friend, tbh. She was barely involved in church - that was all Brandon’s gig. She showed up on Sunday, not much else. Definitely not the normal preachers wife. That was handled by another couple of church members, one in particular, and when that lady moved away, all the organizing & fellowship etc ended. There was the inner circle but Jen treated even her dear old friends like she was too busy to be bothered most of the time. You know that friend where you do most of yhe “work”, then you realize it’s pretty one sided, you start to see that they only seem to call you if they need something … that’s Jen. Once she began adding “famous” people to her friend list, that only deepened. You can’t return your friend’s call but you can go on a girls weekend with bloggers you’ve seen in the flesh like twice? Oh, okay. Lots of hurt feelings. Lots.

This is no surprise.- I do know a woman who felt very taken advantage of and hurt because Jenn literally pawned Remy off on her quite often. The woman had a daughter who was Remy’s age and they became fast friends at church. Remy was all of a sudden spending the night all the time with this girl. The mom felt however that it quickly became a baby sitting service and the friendship was never reciprocated. It was very one sided. Kinda like-, “Hey we have better things to do like hang out with our real friends whose kids are all much older. Can Remy stay the night with y’all?” “Can Remy come over to play for the afternoon, so I can do some stuff?” I mean once in a while is fine, but it never seemed that Jen invited the other girl over. And this woman played a big role in the church at one point. I know she felt very used after some time.

I think their whole career is "looking for the next sucker". That's why they are always working angles and sucking up to whatever people can help them get something they want and then easily disposing of of them.

When you remove yourself from their world and get some perspective (and talk to others who've done the same) it becomes real clear it's sort of funny. And you honestly feel like a bit of a damn fool.

Luckily, though, their time is coming to a pretty swift end. These sorts of "careers" don't last long.

A story I heard from a reliable source:
Once someone sent Jen a heartfelt email about how one of her books had influenced her.
Tray said, regarding the emailer, “she’s just another corn-eater.”
Corneater: someone who would be happy eat the corn kernels out of Jen’s shit.

This seems like a fitting description for most of her followers. Current and past. I don’t have a problem with that description.

Sure, some of the fans are like that. However, if Tray said that, what an A-Hole. It just goes to show further that it’s all a farce; they’re just carnival barkers looking for the next sucker. Where is the humility they espouse? Nowhere in sight, that’s for sure.

That is disgusting.

To anyone still defending her or interacting with her social media, this is what they think of you, sister. You’re not her friend. They take your money mock your admiration.
