A 3-D walk thru of the Design Center at Mt. Prospect is now available. It was nice to take a quick peek at some available options while we wait for our appointment.

We had to raise it ourselves, but we’re already firmly in the camp of wanting to pick our own out and bring it in. They told me their selection was limited anyways.

We're in the same boat as you...but it’s crazy that they don’t even bother offering it. Some folks would probably want to do pendants or scones through Toll. Feels like they don’t know how to run a business which makes me question the whole process based on the feedback others have provided.

Yeah, we’ve been really frustrated and even angry at times. Wish I would have just listened to all the bad reviews and avoided signing a K with them. It’s maddening to be spending this much money and get such poor customer service. I’m just worn out at this point, which is perhaps their goal.

The design center team, however, has at least been more responsive than the sales team. They’ve been awful.

Wow! We thought design center was a problem, but didn’t have any issues with sales team. Did you do Windmill or Orchard/Hamlet? We did Windmill and have been very happy with the team. Design center was a mess though

For the Orchard, the only hanging lights included are in the breakfast and dining rooms. All the other light options were recessed. There are so many beautiful light fixtures on amazon and Wayfair, etc. that you won't need to pay for their markup.

Yup, for us it was just the one level bump-up from the base. We’re really pleased with it though.

No problem, this process with the Design Center is totally overwhelming, I get it! Tip that worked for me... I used Houzz to collect ideas, had a mood board of colors I liked, and made notes of the type of look I wanted to achieve. The designer was then good about showing us options that matched the look.

Wait, what? We were never told about this at. all.

Yeah, but it’s not cheap

I don't know why they make it so damn hard to give them money.

They also do string lights and can make sure the outlet outside is at the right height for them. The things they don’t tell you unless you ask... 😂

We wanted to add exterior junction boxes for more outdoor lighting in the porch and outside of the outdoor living space and was told there wasn't an option.
