A lot of niner fans are Latinos. I’m sure there were Latinos present it’s Miami.

Both performers' performances were totally expected. Also, JLo is a dancer first, and singer second--do people here know that she started out as a Fly Girl on In Living Color in the 90s? She's not a strong singer, but because she's incredibly hardworking and ambitious, she was able to parlay her success into acting and singing gigs.

I just read that she did gymnastics, ran track, and was on her Catholic high school's softball team--that totally makes sense, given how athletic she still is at 50.

Maybe it's mentioned somewhere in this thread already, but... Jlo was wearing a flesh colored bodysuit. You don't actually see that much of her skin. Are we now shocked and outraged at the implication of skin? What a puritan country.

That is definitely in play. I'm around their ages and I enjoyed the performance. As far as their figures and energy goes, I was inspired.

I also think that most won't admit their insecurity, and so instead they say they're offended due to children watching, when what's really cloying at them is the fear that their husbands will find them inadequate relative to Shakira/JLo. Perhaps some think it's a little much for kids, but they wouldn't go on this much about it if that were all this is about. The level of venom expressed here, calling them sluts etc? That's something else, not just concern about kids.
