You want to quit and leave? The grass is not greener.

Leave if you want, you are toxic and not wanted. Great team, great coaches, great organization. Perhaps the problem isn't the team and club. Perhaps, it is you and your attitude. Be part of the solution, otherwise take your toxic ball and go home .

Since about 2013, there is never ending outrage against a DC area club about angry quitter emails and cheating in games with overage players and taunting youth players through social media and other stuff. All by posters who don't have kids with that program and will never be associated with that program. Who cares why folks care? Lacrosse folks are passionate.

Well when that program runs tourneys and behave like they've behaved, it does concern us, and that's why we're not attending those tourneys anymore.

stop complaining and just compete!!!!! Results speak for themselves. Show up and play the game and see how it goes or just keep running your club to another tourney to make johnny feel better. it is a game and oh my kid is on age and legit!

So you scout random teams that your son is not on, and track their performance and improvement (or lack of it) over three years, and then post your critique as a public service?

Either you are lying, or you are an awfully strange person.

My kid plays lacrosse in this area. So I naturally get a sense of what’s going on with the other teams and clubs in the area from reading this forum, Back of the Cage forum, and talking to other lacrosse parents. If you think that’s “strange” then you are an awfully stupid person.

What team does your son play for?

NP:Lots of questions here - what age groups and clubs do you want to ask what when why and how people share opinions? HIGh school club lax doesnt start until summer? but folks are talking up a dcum storm on strength of private School varsity blax teams, predictions on a season barely started. Might as well make yourself available there

Good point but if you follow this thread one person seems very involved in following just the 2025 team? He then claims no ties to that team which is kind of strange. Any thoughts on other VLC age groups. Trying to figure out this person’s agenda

You’re obsessively focused on my supposed “agenda” rather than whether or not what I’m saying is correct.

This is an unmistakable sign that you are stupid.

I post in other threads, too. Try again.

Why is this only focused on the 2025 age group if you follow club lacrosse in general?

You are reading “passion” into it that isn’t there. But it is not unusual to misunderstand emotion on the internet, or to accuse a poster of being “angry” if you disagree with them in a lame effort to discredit their words. I assure you I don’t care whether VLC teams get better quickly, slowly, or not at all. On the face of it, they don’t get better due to good coaching, but because weak players are replaced with better ones over time.

I also have (dispassionate) opinions about many other clubs that my kid doesn’t belong to. I acquired these opinions through the process known as “reading and talking to people”. Certain PPs regard that process as “awfully strange”, probably because those PPs are autistic, but such is life.
