Santa was obsessed with her but felt she was his angel so that is why he took the time to wrap her in a blanket. Also maybe he wanted to cover the body hoping she would not be found as quickly. I think either JB wet the bed and woke up and changed underwear herself or the killer came in and smelled the urine and that ruined his sick fantasy so he changed her.
You're wrong, the underwear were a gift for JonBenet's cousin who was 12 or 13 years old.

And the DNA they found on JonBenet was "touch DNA" meaning it was really just partial DNA. Seems very odd to me that an intruder could have done what they did to her and leave just touch DNA. And the touch DNA didn't match any suspects that the police were aware of.
