And you are here because? That's right, because you are so much better than everyone else. I should have given you a few more wedgies on the playground dork.

Do you have a light illuminating your jacket or do you just sit down there in the dark by yourself?

VYS will continue to struggle due to the amount of competing clubs in the area. The top players that live in the area aren't playing for VYS, they have left for Mclean, Arlington, BRYC. I don't favor any leagues, but the larger competitive clubs kills our team at every level, my kid isn't a D1 prospect, but loves her team and I enjoy the short commute to practice. Nice family club, but if you are looking to develop a player to compete in college you should shop elsewhere. BTW, we haven't won a state cup, buy my daughter won the fire starting competition at their end of the year soccer camp out. I call that a winner.

Thanks VYS for giving us one of your shitbirds. F*cking guy can't pick players to save his life. He promoted two of the weakest players on last year's team. Now I get why you guys are bitching.

So would everyone agree that winning one state cup in the last 8 years, in a time when State Cup has been diluted by the boys DAs and the girls ECNL, is not particularly impressive.

I get it... the troll hates BRYC. Fine. I don't understand why anyone needs to hate any club. Just do what's best for your kid.

The fact is that VYS has a ton of teams that lose a buttload of games, but that there are a few -- a few -- VYS girls teams at the high-school level that could be considered good. For example, they're ranked #2 in the state.

There's a BRYC troll who hates the VYSA State Cup, and he likes to share his views and respond to his own posts whenever anyone dares to mention this event.

Btw, there's a large number of talented soccer players who live in Vienna. But to be clear: they don't necessarily play for VYS.

Why would BRYC hate VYSA State Cup? They've done pretty well over the years in that event.

It means jack shit that they won state cup. Our club's top team used to be our B team....the top players are all in DA. It shows, so congrats on state cup..it's a dead tournament just like ODP. Congrats, you are the fastest kid at fat camp.

So angry and scary...

State Cup results:

http://www.vysa.com/statecup/index_E.html

VYS Phoenix 99 lost in extra time in the U18 final.

VYS Thunder Black lost in extra time in the U20 semis.

The 2003 girls, mentioned above, lost in the U14 quarterfinals. They were also unbeaten in VPL this year -- 14 wins, 3 ties. Their tournament record was pretty good: http://youthsoccerrankings.us/team.html?teamId=1611822
