For me, the issue is this: players don’t need to just be great talent… they need to think. I see a lot of adrenaline take over on the final third that could be better used with preset plays, but several of the girls are not looking or thinking in that situation. This is a problem on many teams but that is the standout for me. You have to be smart, not just strong, fast, and skilled.
So KL’s style wasn’t “smart”? It was just based on strength and speed?
The style was smart. The kids are not as smart as they need to be. Don’t confound the two things, they are separate. You can have great plays but in the moment the players need to execute and remember. They are not all doing that.
So NM’s tactics and system are too “smart” for the players?
Say what you want about NM but his kids all leave club college ready.
What’s the last top end team NM had? 02 McLean?

VA Union 09 was a top team before the merger.

He can’t explain what he wants at practice so he just yells on the field during the entire game.

NM is affliliated with GFR
BSC practicing at GFR fields on FFX permits? That’s rich.

Again. BSC was doing just fine. New coach comes in. Special virginia players. Special virginia practices. Why not treat all players fairly?
Agree , but BSC made a deal with the devil. He made promises to those girls to get them to follow him and now look...it will only get worse as the season goes on. You can only juggle things for so long....there are several coaches in the area that work this way and by the end of the season it all falls apart , burned bridges, angry parents, players who didnt get a fair shot, politics with accolades and support for US soccer IDs as well as College placement support. etc (and this has nothing to do with wins or losses). Good luck navigating that type of team...just toxic.
Yet you guys are going to still openly welcome back the former FVU players next year. That’s just how bad you want to win. I bet you still go into your trophy room and stare at your cheap Arlington ASIST medals from time to time.
How do you know that things will get worse for BSC as the season goes on? Did it get worse at FVU? Promises were made at FVU as well but you are still there
Of course they will be welcomed back with open arms. FVU needs good players and where else are these players going to go? No serious high school age player goes to Arlington and GA is probably not an option for recruiting years.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:LOL definetly not getting better. Alll that broken trust to not even make the playoffs. Its a darn shame, all over adult egos, none of this helps the kids be better at soccer and play in college if they so desire.
If BSC doesnt make the playoffs should they also cry to ECNL for a spot?

Wrong.
And I am NOT a VA parent.
