I read about April’s many- years affair with Frankie Valli. You can find a write up about it in the New York Post from a couple of years ago. Joe was a real a-hole.

He and her mother groomed her from childhood. Sick and sad. I'm glad that she seems happy and confident now.

The proficers have not given us much on Theresa. Basically, her crime is liking Gerry a bit too much or a bit to loudly. They haven't helped the audience root for her.

I hope they turn that around in the coming episodes. Make her more than one-dimensional.

I've watched all the episodes, but have decided I'm "done" with this show.

it isn't the women. It's Gerry. He is like a wet blanket and seems overwhelmed (either overjoyed or completely despondent) about everything. "What a fantastic date!" Or "This is so heavy and breaks my heart."

The show isn't bringing me joy. Now, "Paradise," on the other hand, is such a joke as to their sincerity and actual long-term goals. But "Paradise" brings me joy by laughing at these idiots.

Ironically, I loved the first few episodes of Golden Bach. It made me happy that these women realized that love isn't "not an option" at age 70.

I agree she's probably quite naive compared to the other women. She was the only woman married to one man from the time she was a teenager. But also remember the producers gave her a specific edit to perpetuate a certain narrative. Because there was little to no drama in the house, they needed to make the most of what they had! I'm looking forward to seeing what she's like in interviews not crafted by producers. My guess is she's uncomplicated but not a total dope.
