JB is only 60. He’s not going anywhere. The buzz at DM is DM just had his 2nd hip surgery so he’s working part -time. He has also told the school he can’t commit to being a full-time employee which was temporarily waived during Covid but now being asked to. SJC is now searching as WS told SJC he is looking for college opportunities and DM is looking to interview.

Couldn’t kick the board member(s) out so DCE guys took the fall.

I'm not surprised at all, Dave Mitchell is taking on a lesser type role with DeMatha lacrosse this Spring and could easily see this being his "way out" and last season affiliated with the DeMatha program.

You can't fault the man either.. Dave has 3 kids to take of at home, and runs a full time national caliber club lacrosse program that pays the bill. I'm not sure what his coaching stipend is at DeMatha but can't imagine is more than $4 - $8K

I've said this before but running an exceptional club lacrosse program, never translates well to when the individual is also a head coach at HS. It's impossible to be great at bothas there will always be some type of conflict of interest.

Better question, if Mitchell is out, where does that leave DeMatha? Who would be the next coach there?

Not a chance speaks would be the assistant coach at UMD.
