I agree and people already knew about the bonus thing and I always wanted to be able to see the reaction of the people that got those bonuses.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:The Oprah Winfey of pop music. Everything is framed to be about how wonderful and generous she is but the point os really that she is better than everyone. People got sick of Oprah's self centered talk show after about 20 years and people will eventually get sick of tour documentaries with the central theme "Look how amazing snd generous i am."
People who are truly generous do not constantly have to advertise it as an ego and publicity boost.
The documentary is all about the tour itself, not about how generous she is. Watch it or don’t, no one cares.
The point is that there is an ego element in putting the bonuses in the film because then Taylor giving bonuses becomes a story. Plenty of celebrities give stuff without telling anyone, She could have given it without filming it but that would not get as much publicity. There is always a PR angle.
Yeah, but who cares. Everything Taylor does is going to have a PR angle, she’s the biggest celebrity in the world.
I’d rather her make news for giving insane bonuses to everyone she works with then make news for being stingy.
My point is everything this lady does does not have to be news. If she gave people bonuses privately people might find out but she had to film it for the Tay glorification. Girlfriend has an enormous ego that she constantly feeds with money from these forlorn 20 something who would buy Taylor's bottes bathwater.
I don’t disagree that everything she does is news. That’s what happens you have something like 250 million followers. But she would’ve made news if she was stingy and gave no bonuses, so it’s better to make news for doing something nice.
I love that she made it public. It just makes the other billionaires who are paying minimum wages and not giving bathroom brakes to their employees look like total psychopaths.

"You've got to start doing something different," encouraging her to meet him, despite Taylor's initial hesitations about dating an athlete.
I guess Mom’s make the best matchmakers after all!
Her attorney and manager got them together. Breakup coming in April/May after Kelce retires. Then she will write a ditty about the football jersey Her lover left and fans will act like it is so emotionally crushing and significant. Taylor speaks for all of them who have been crushed by their situation ships and hookups. She is just like them! They will all rush to download the single and book tickets for the "Melancholy" tour.
Didn't you promise to go away, and not come back until this projected break up happens? Shoo.

She could have done a 2:15 tour and earned the same amount of money- the doc shows how much work this show is. Dancers say she lets them be themselves and have opportunities they wouldn’t have elsewhere. She pays her staff what they’re worth and has had many on her payroll for decades. Whether or not you like her music that’s all pretty admirable.

You realize most top notch artists do the same thing, right?
I really sometimes think some of you hardcore Swifties have never closely followed a top-tier musical act before, so you see things like keeping people on payroll for decades or paying out bonuses and act like that’s unique.
How old exactly do you think DCUM's average poster is? I imagine most of us are over 40, and yes, have followed music before.
