No. That is sweet and thoughtful. Imagine that your thanksgiving meal is so anticipated by family members that they are getting their own tupperware to take the leftovers. How sweet!!

Then get takeout. You can even ask the ILs to pay. Give them a nice big doggie bag and ask them to order the takeout the next day. Make a tradition that actually works instead of Leftover Wars

PP with the animal in-laws. They would just bring 25% more tupperware and snatch up all the food. They are no longer hungry, but they still want all the food...just in case. They have been through some really hard times so it comes from a place of fear of when will they eat next, even though they are very well off now. They still have that trauma.

I would never tell them I think they're rude, especially since I know their history, but I will tell an anonymous message board I think it's crazy that by the time I come back to the table with the pie, they've packed up all the leftovers.

So it’s not hard you just want to be a betch about it?
