The chaperones for our house did not buy any alcohol and did call a parent about the behavior of one occupant.

Ignore it but don’t buy it

Parents buy the alcohol and stock the houses so that their kids won’t get arrested using fake ID’s.

Our chaperones buy beer and seltzer. No hard liquor. That is contrary to the contract the kids sign with the chaperones.

Dont love it, but better than alternative.

We're all terribly impressed. I'm sure they had a blast sitting on the beach and in the upscale house since a bunch of 18 yos can't go to bars and there's not much else to do in Corolla. Now, I'd love to hear someone from hellholes like Myrtle Beach, OC, VA Beach.

These kids have been using fake IDs all year going our in Georgetown. DUh.

That's not something to brag about. Duh.

Wait, there are still cool bars in Georgetown? That place is so utterly depressing now.

No. Most chaperones don’t do that. You should probably know if you have a chaperone like that before you agreed to send your kid.

Every beach house has “adult” chaperones or else most renters won’t rent if they don’t. Most renters ask for at least one 25 year old or they won’t rent. I know that was the case with all of my kids friends.

Our travel agent is also here and the report she has been getting from management is that our kids have been polite and they love how they’re participating in activities and the dance parties at night.

We have 5 parents (more stay and help) signed up each night from 10 pm- 2 am to help ensure kids aren’t overserved, getting to their rooms safely, etc. from the main dance area/bar.

That’s a Lot of parents supervising. Is it a religious school?

Yes, but that’s not why a lot of parents went. We all went because we’re also friends. Many of our kids have been in school together since PK/K.

Just say that it's SSSAS. It's Episcopal.

Kids can go to beach in groups, but not drunk in the evenings. Kids can walk to beach or other houses, but not screaming and being rowdy while drunk. Kids can have friends over, but not hang out outside and be loud and drunk. Do you see the common thread?
