Yes. W&L has stronger academics.

Yes
Today’s US News rankings have very little to do with academics and a lot to do with diversity and social justice. Whenever you’re looking at a ranking system, you should do some research and look at what factors are used to come up with the rankings.
Are you suggesting UR is better for diversity and social justice?

Such as? For what reasons?

There is zero oversight of the student run committee who decides what is or is not a violation. Students also won’t snitch and others cheat without repercussions.
It was the same at a private high school my kids attended too. No idea why any adult thinks that official peer judgment is a good idea in today’s world. Kids are anxious and depressed over feeling constantly judged already. May as well just hand them a rope or a gun.
Doesn't UVA do the same thing?
Yes and it's a huge problem there too.
Cheating isn't really addressed at UVA.
False. The student-run honor committe and judicial court is a very big thing at UVA.https://honor.virginia.edu/
False. All over UVA reddit and all over the minds of many parents of UVA students who are angry about curves being slanted because of dishonest people.

Is Richmond woke? I never thought of it that way, but things can change and I don't know anyone who's attended recently.
I don’t think US news rankings take woke into consideration per se. I think the reference to social justice comes from the fact that US News takes the number of Pell grant recipients in the student body and the graduation rate of those Pell grant recipients into account when calculating rankings.
What are other top SLAC’s doing for Pell students that W&L isn’t?
