I had a miscarriage last October @ 9 weeks (literally pregnancy loss day in pregnancy loss month...could not appreciate the irony at the time - no heartbeat) and now my second baby is due a week or so before I lost my little baby last year (I think it was a molar too). It can certainly be a long road and every road looks different, but I hope that you have your baby. If you have 1 (like I did) or 2 or none at home, this loss is never easy...

Bleeding all through first trimester and very sick. Doctor kept saying heartbeat was strong, and bleeding probably from a polyp. Went for the NT scan at 12-13 weeks and baby had just stopped growing the day before. I could see tech doing the nuchal fold measurement and I was really high. Had D&C and pathology showed baby had Tripoldy and it was a partial mole. Took several months for levels to go back to normal, after that I was allowed to try again. I think it’s 3 or 6 months of negative tests to safely get pregnant.

Also I was measuring big. At 12 weeks I was the size of 20 weeks even though I want overeating or anything. Nurse commented and mentioned twins and I told her that wasn’t possible from all the u/s. Should have been a clue something bad was going on and instead it was shrugged off.

I had a partial mole so I know what you are talking about. In my case, we saw a strong heartbeat around 8 weeks. I was quite sick the entire first tri - sick for me, probably not that sick compared to others’ normal pregnancies. At my 13-week ultrasound, there was no heartbeat and baby had died at 8 weeks. I got a D&C at 15 weeks, and maybe a week later got the news it was a partial mole. My surgeon told me she suspected it during the surgery as I had so much fluid. But she never mentioned it to me at the surgery. No one ever mentioned it as a possibility until I got the pathology results so it was a huge shock. I didn’t even know what it was, had to google a lot. Also, I never had my HCG tested until the surgery. I would also be concerned about such a high HCG number. To encourage you, I’ve had four healthy children total, two of whom came after my partial mole.

My SIL had bleeding and she had partial placental abruption (or something like that). Whatever she had it went away or fixed itself by the second trimester. It could be something besides for molar. Good luck OP!

Mine was like PP unexplained bleeding/spotting. It was dark brown like old blood and sort of flaky, I also was very very sick. Heartbeat always sounded good up and early ultrasounds looked normal. Eventually baby stopped growing around 12 weeks, and a missed miscarriage was discovered.

Partial molars have a heartbeat.

For me? Unexplained bleeding. The kept doing u/s and saying everything was fine until one day it wasn’t. My hcg level wasn’t checked until week 12 and it was over 1 million. The whole time I knew something wasn’t right deep in my soul even tho the doctors said everything was fine. Keep pushing if you are concerned.

Molar pregnancies don’t have HB?

Wondering what yours were.

Had a normal ultrasound with a strong heartbeat about a week ago. Baby measured 7w5d. Yesterday, had a gush of bright red blood that soaked my underwear with cramping. Went to the ER and ultrasound was normal. Although baby measured 8w3d, 8 days passed last ultrasound. This morning, cramping and light bleeding has continued.

What really has me suspecting PMP is that my HCG is 220k.

Any experiences? I hate just waiting to miscarry.
