DP. I can see using it for research. Surrounding counties (ahem, FCPS where I am) are actually doing worse than APS on close contacts. The ridiculousness of pausing vaccinated kids where I am comes to mind, plus no test out option to shorten quarantine. Or you can go "worse" with close contacts being allowed to stay in school with no testing, as in some other states.

Hopefully APS will be moving to a "test to stay" model soon. We need to be prioritizing kids in school, especially those that are testing negative after a close contact.
