Omg yes. It’s so so hard while your uterus contrasts. You have this super cute baby but your body looks bad.
And my own Dh who is kind and not a jerk made a comment about another womans body the other day. I could tell she was at the pediatrician for one of the first appointments with her newborn. He told me he was shocked she’d gotten pregnant again so soon. Yikes. People just aren’t used to seeing postpartum bodies.

Yep, mother of toddler here who's very up-to-speed on DR, postpartum bodies etc and even I assume sometimes. I saw a woman the other day who looked like she was in the early second tri and then I noticed the newborn in the stroller. I flattened out relatively quickly but I cringe at the early (first month) PP pics of me when they show up on the family photo slideshow.
