Have you told her it makes you uncomfortable? I always ask my DH if he’s okay with it before I do something like this. If he ever said he wasn’t okay with it, I wouldn’t go. (He also isn’t the least bit controlling, so if he said he didn’t like it it would be serious). I value my relationship with my husband over my friend.

Can you compromise and do a 3 day weekend together to see the friend? You use 1 vacation day, you both are present, she sees her friend.

If you are invited, it sounds fine. If you can't join, that's sus and you are justified being not okay.

Have you met this person? Did they ever date? I'd probably be okay with it if we're talking about a best friend of long standing, who I've met, and who I have no reason to think is a threat. Plus, people who want to have a steamy affair usually don't bring the toddler along.
