Has anyone seen or touched a Rivian in person? The adventure with the tax credit brings it to a more affordable number, but I’m interested in the fit and finish first.

My buddy placed a preorder 4 weeks ago and he was told he can expect delivery in mid 2022

Delivery timeline is really in an unknown. The SUV is scheduled to start deliveries in January 2022 so it depends on how many pre-order holders there are, your configuration, and whether there is a service center up and running in the area of delivery. There is a potential site for a service center in the DMV, but it is not under construction yet.

My DH is pushing to get one....so thinking about it.

How long is delivery at this point?

Sweet -- unfortunately, that's a bit out of my own EV budget, which has us driving an ID.4, but I'll look forward to admiring yours at a DC fast charging station sometime next year.

Any Rivian order holders here? I have a R1S that I expect sometime in late 2022 or 2023.
