Listen to your gut. It’s not your job to save this person. And yes I totally believe in people having energy, either light or dark.

Once I got crazy dark energy from a guy in my neighborhood. I’m not generally the type to put much stock in this stuff. But I was walking in neighborhood with my young daughter. My daughter has always been very chatty and friendly - saying hi to anyone who was around. We talked to some girls and their mom on front steps of a house nearby. They were standoffish but not unkind. Hesitant. Dad rolled up in a car and the moment I caught sight of him I wanted to run. He scared the heck out of me. Something in his eyes and the way his female family members reacted. Never felt anything like that before or since. Felt like violent energy. Hateful. Now I stay on the other side of the street if we walk by that house. I know nothing about these people. Not even their names but I’m still afraid of that house.

I've never expereinced anything to the depth that you're describing but there have been people who I instinctively knew to be wary of.

I'm not saying that he harbors any malice to you but keep your guard up and trust your instinct.

Op again. Yes I have my own experience with depression and receiving treatment. Thankfully doing better.

Op here. The majority of me wants to stay away, but because of my experience with the other guy part of me wants to reach out to him
I saw the kid who took his life a few days before he did it and I have wondered if things would have been different had I said hello to him that day.

I'm trying to pay more attention to this stuff because I have a pretty powerful gut when I'm not silencing it. I'm a skeptic and atheist and all that, but I totally believe you because I know exactly what you mean.

I have only ever felt the same dark energy surrounding someone before one time years ago, and it was with a guy zi didn't know well who ended up taking his life, though with him If say less dark, but more a sadness, and it definitely was not as strong as with this guy.
