I thought we’d have to steamroll the libs in the streets, but the Governor just might have figured out and end run and saved lives. Prayers!!!

The maga turkeys have made it clear that they hate America and want to destroy the nation so they can have in its place something on the fascism-dystopian nightmare-Handmaid’s Tale-Christian Taliban type thing, and all versions of this nightmare vision feature the insanely wealthy becoming even more so. I am really torn here on whether to hope this happens. I know it will cause suffering and misery to women if it does happen. But I also believe that something needs to shake the pro-choice majority to sit up and take notice of the people trying to take their rights away.

It won’t take but one or two women dying horrifically, that’s true. Unfortunately the statistics are that the woman who dies of a botched abortion will be poor, probably a minority and will like have a child or two. And the “weeeer saffffing babeeeez” crew won’t give a fat rat’s about the motherless children or the dead woman. But maybe this will shake some more Republican women out of their stupor and realize that to GOP men, they’re nothing but a potentially loaded uterus that needs to be under the thumb of big Christian gummint.
