Cedar Point in Ohio in mid-August. We're vaccinated and everything is outside. Something like 3% of people were wearing masks (we did not).

We went to Legoland CA earlier this month. Although we're all vaccinated, we decided we would be fully masked inside and outside, because we were also visiting younger relatives that can't yet be vaccinated. My rough estimate is that about a quarter of families at the park were masked at all times, a few more did masks inside, and everyone else was unmasked the entire time. We ate outside and tried to keep our distance in lines and waiting areas. It's probably the most group exposure we've had since COVID started, and it felt ok.

I am considering going to sesame place tomorrow.

We went to Sesame Place. Indoor lines for food were the least safe part, and the kids stayed outside. I texted other adults the menu, went in, stood in line for 15 minutes, ordered.

Same here, but at Busch Gardens. We have season passes and have been several times this summer, on less crowded days.

Hershey park last week. Almost no one wearing masks indoor or out. No distancing in lines. We started spreading ourselves out as a family to forcibly create some distance and then just bought the super expensive fast pass so we could skip all the lines. But it meant we skipped all the water rides as there is no fast pass for those and you can’t mask.
On the upside, most things, including the food, is outside.

King’s Dominion a couple weeks ago. Not very crowded. About 10% of people wearing masks... more in kids’ area and in lines. We didn’t go inside anywhere except bathrooms (ate on the way, no souvenirs). We live close by and have season passes, so it was a quick 2-hour visit.

Busch gardens wasn’t crowded today.

Totally fine, we wore masks but it was HOT as heck!

Oh also, about half the food vendors were open because they can't hire enough staff. Probably worse now tbh b/c college kids are back at school.

It felt much more crowded and the bathroom scenario was sketch. No one in masks except our family. It was very hot and we didn't feel safe doing indoor shows, etc since few were masking.

We are middle of the road with covid. We have not flown but have driven to beach houses, have attended and hosted small gatherings, etc.
