Chanel: you are trying really hard to be perceived as classy but you look basic and a little uptight
YSL: you are also basic and always just a little bit behind the trends.
Hermès (esp the birkin): you are filthy rich and you want everyone to know it
Gucci: you are loud and showy. You already know this and don’t care.
Louis Vuitton: it is not a centerpiece to your outfit and you are boring but practical with fashion or you wear it like a ~luxury bag- and you are a high maintenance try hard
Not really designer but I’m including:
Michael Kors: you desperately wish you could afford designer but can’t. You love discount retailers like Marshall’s and Ross.
Coach: it’s 2010 and you live in the suburbs. Or you wear a basic tote for work and wish it was designer but tell yourself you just want something practical.
Please add more if the mood strikes and, people, don’t take this list too seriously, I’m sure you look great with your handbag…
