He doesn’t need milk. He needs and should get water

So is water being passed out then? Or should we be brining a reusable bottle from home to fill at the fountain?

The entirety of our zoom school orientation was fixated on indoor/outdoor seating arrangements. I'm still pretty clueless on how my kid is supposed to get something to drink.

We were told at orientation to bring a water bottle if we could to cut down on use of the water fountains. I noticed water coolers in that hall that I assume is how they're filled.

How do you choose to do that? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I’m new to MCPS. I plan to send lunch for my kindergartener, but it would be nice if she can get milk and a fruit.

I don’t know if ala carte options are being provided this year.

They will be allowed to just buy milk.

So you do have to buy it though? It’s not being given out for free outside of the entire lunch option? I don’t care, but if I do need to get a lunch card and load money in it, that would be helpful to know.

The USDA extended their food subsidy program through the 21-22 school year. All schools are supposed to be providing free breakfast and lunch to all students throughout the school year.

Where is that listed menu of normal school breakfast and lunch food for next week and September? Link please.

You can find the elementary first week menu here, and that's also where the secondary menu will be posted when available: https://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/departments/food-and-nutrition/menus/

My kids’ MS is offering free breakfast, lunch and dinner to all students. Grab and go for each meal.

I see that families have to bring food, but mcps will give out fruit + vegetable + milk from school home page. I thought kids will get hamburger, pizza, sandwich something like that, plus breakfast option?
