Might be a good time to try cold sandwiches. Peer pressure to eat can be strong. If you start with warm ones, you may be chaining yourself to an overly complicated morning routine.

Get a big thermos so it can fit the quesadilla. Some of the kiddie ones are small and awkward .

I've had the same issue and couldn't figure out anything other than making it the morning of and wrapping in some type of cling wrap or aluminum foil. I couldn't eat a cold cheese quesadilla or grilled cheese. Try new items because your child might be getting bored of the same stuff.

My 4-year old eats the same thing for lunch every day. He used to be a great eater, but now he’s firmly in a refusal stage despite our efforts to introduce new (and old) foods. Next week he starts prek at a dcps and will not have his lunch heated for the first time. Any tips on keeping a cheese quesadilla or grilled cheese sandwich warm in a lunchbox? Good containers? Eventually he’ll have to get used to it and eating other things, but I’m just looking to make the transition a little easier.
