Can someone please tell me more about him at Lyles Crouch? Was he involved in the school? What is his reputation?

I am surprised he’s still running. He seems to be a do as I say not as I do type of candidate

What are the chances that both of his kids have such a rare medical condition that they can’t wear masks? There are very few kids who really can’t wear masks for legitimate health reasons. I think he’s anti-mask but the strategy of using their kids to make a point back-fired. Might work in Florida or Texas but not Alexandria, VA.

I mean, it is possible that two sibilings would have a rare medical condition.. But I still think he is full of it. The number of medical conditions that would prevent mask wearing is very, very small - and the kids don't appear to have any of them (severe autism, significant mental or physical disability that would prevent a person from being capable of removing their own mask).

Also, HE is also not wearing a mask in the rec center pictures.

Why oh why did he have to drag his kids into this? Know your audience, dude. People in Alexandria by and large supportive of masking of unvaccinated children.

It shows me he never was a serious candidate. They had to know this would completely disqualify him in the eyes of the community.

I don't know Boyle's positions on ACPS issues, and I don't know his children's medical situation. I am, however, troubled by his wife posting in a public ACPS-related facebook forum that a solution has now been found that would allow the children to wear masks. Why did they not explore the option of solutions before sending the kids to school without masks? I get that there are a small group of kids with disabilities for whom no masking solution exists, but that doesn't seem to be the case here, based on his wife's statements.

I saw on fb that this guy had some sort of event at Charles Houston with free haircuts and backpacks for BTS to anyone who came. I see those kind of events in other cities as well. And in some of the pictures people either pulled down their mask or weren’t wearing them and a few choice people went nuts. I guess if those kids’ parents were there they approved it. But the same critical people are all goo-goo ga-ga over Justin Wilson having his running events where you can go jogging with him, maskless, huffing and puffing and sweating everywhere and chat about local politics. He did one last night. So neat, so fun, so many particles all over the place.

Pick your poison, can’t have it both ways.
