I ordered two upholstered chairs that came out really nice - beautiful job on the upholstery and seem to be holding up well. Also got the York straight arm slipcovered sofa and like it a lot. Also holding up very well.

Long ago I had the PB basic couch and chairs that were actually made by Mitchell Gold - lasted forever.

So while we had to wait forever for delivery, I'm very happy with the furniture.

No. They were terrible for me pre-COVID, and I can't imagine how they are now.

Besides the delivery dates being screwy, are people who received merchandise overall happy with quality from PB? West Elm has gone down.

They were awful on this stuff pre-COVID. And their customer service is very hit or Miss. At least, in my experience.

It's hit or miss and highly dependent on the individual items.

We ordered a dining room light fixture from them in the spring -- it arrived within a week. But desk chairs ordered last November didn't arrive until April of this year, and oddly, we had the same delivery timeframe for some string lights.

We ordered several pieces of furniture in May and have had an estimated delivery date of Aug. 23-Sept. 6 since then. No updates even though that timeframe is getting close. Since these are in-home delivery items, it appears that they have had two of the three items for months and are waiting on the third because they hold the delivery until they have everything.

IME, light fixtures might be the one thing you could be okay with in terms of receiving the items quickly. But then again, maybe not.

Ordered dish towels in early March, and at the time I didn’t realize they were back ordered. Literally just got them today.

Always late in my case. Always.

Waited three months longer than already re-scheduled delivery date - and that was pre-covid! I don't trust them anymore. If I can't pick it up from the store then I won't buy from them.

No. There are DOZENS of threads about how far behind all the Pottery Barn brands are.

Very unreliable! I am waiting on a bed frame and it is way past the original order date.

West Elm and Pottery Barn delivery dates are very unreliable right now. A sectional that was scheduled for January arrived in July. I gave up on a kitchen table and cancelled -- which took multiple lengthy calls.

For sheets or other items that deliver via UPS, yes. But if it's in home delivery, I'd be more skeptical.

My sisters rocking chair delivery date has been rescheduled at least twice.

I don't know if I still would trust PB estimated deliver dates. On September 10th, they may send you an update and say the new date is October 2nd or something.

Want to purchase a few pendant lights from PB. The estimated delivery date is currently Sept 14-17th. I know people were annoyed with PB recently, with shipments getting delayed, etc. Just wondering how accurate the delivery dates are currently. We only have our contractor here this month, so I don't want to buy something that has a long lead time.
