Great training. Great international trips to Spain (we’ve done twice). Your son or daughter won’t be signed by a La Liga team—though I did read recently about the ability for girls to play alongside a good Spanish academy in Madrid next spring). The trip gives kids the opportunely to measure themselves against some crazy good teams. Last year we played a tourney in Madrid, and two friendlies with CD Leganés and Rayo age group academy teams.

Without a doubt, Fustars helped boost my DC’s performance.

Hi does your daughter do regular weekly trainings or just international trips?

My daughter went to their fall sessions 2025, she loves it, and she’s on the older side of her group, she could be challenged a little more, but overall, we are very happy. And will return for future programs.

Not primarily boys. There were girls in the Pre-ECNL range for the spring version at the NZone. I have no idea for the fall.

Quality training regardless. Arlington coaches who know ball mastery and small sided technical training.

Depends what you mean by footwork. If you are just talking about dribbling then no. They work on dribbling, first touch, passing and movement about equally. I would say that futstars programs tend to be holistic rather than focused on a particular skill where HP Elite tends to target courses to a specific skill.

Futstars groups are usually fairly small, and there aren't typically many girls - maybe 1-2 per group at your daughter's age. This is good if you daughter is good enough to play with good boys - it may be a negative if she's not though. Probably worth a quick discussion with the coaches as to whether your daughter is at a sufficient level.

The coaches are very good - amongst the best in the area. HP Elite and Total Futbol have good coaches too - I don't have experience with Coerver.

The talent level of the kids is probably higher at Futstars than elsewhere. You will (or at least you used to) find several kids from DCU (when they still had younger age groups) at futstars sessions for example.

I'm not sure if it matters at all, but very few girls attend Futstars. Maybe it doesn't matter to your daughter. Maybe it does. A few girls attend but not many. Maybe one or two.

Normally they have a few clinics going simultaneously with different focuses similar to what HP Elite does (Shooting, Maestro, complete player, and whatever other focuses HP has). For example, maybe Mondays are...Shooting and 1v1 based. Thursday sessions may be footskills and small sided play, etc. You can do all the sessions or select which clinic is best for you. I do not know the younger group at all so I don't know the level, but the older kids that attend are usually very strong players on top area teams.

Futstars does not play futsal. They may enter a team in a local winter tournament but they did not train futsal at all. They do have some small sided play that can translate but nothing futsal specific.
