Same in U14 Boys COPA Bracket. VA Union FC won 13-0 (results capped at 10) and no goals scored against them all tournament. They probably should have been placed in the Premier bracket.
Crazy. That is not good for anyone. They were tied for the worst record with BRYC in ECNL last year. Those two are going to remain there if they are getting ready for the season by playing B and C teams.
I don't understand. Is somebody betting their mortgage on 13 year olds playing soccer? If not, why the fixation with how many games a team wins in one of the toughest leagues in the country? It seems incredibly shortsighted and childish, but maybe it's just me.

Ref assignments for this and the Dulles Cup filled up nicely. If you end up missing a ref, something happened at the last minute. Some fields have standby refs.
One reason games are starting on time is that they allowed some cushion. A lot of tournaments playing 25-minute halves will schedule games for one-hour windows, and it's tough to get the next game started after a five-minute window. They've allowed 70 minutes. A small matter, but it makes a difference.

Can only Beat the teams you are scheduled to play
True. And they aren't blowing out the B teams, so it probably is probably the right level competition for them.
Itβs pre season.
Right. That is why they are doing well. They don't win regular season games.
How do you wake up every day and continue to be so miserable? What's it like to spend every waking hour bashing a boys soccer team? Aspire to something higher. Maybe take up backgammon or something? Anything - because the path you're on is not healthy.
