I placed an order this morning, I saw it processing, I could see the driver and that he was at the restaurant. The status said the restaurant was working on the order and the eta was 5-10 minutes. Checked the app about 3 minutes later and the pending order is gone. I checked and nothing was delivered, looked in the app and it’s not showing up under “past orders”.
I get that a merchant or driver may need to cancel an order sometimes, but Uber doesent notify the customer in any way? No “order cancelled by merchant” notification? It just disappears?
