Another vote for this method. My floors have been sticky and gross even though I mop at least once a week. I tried this method this weekend and the difference is amazing. I think I drove DH crazy though because I kept talking about how clean the floors were.
I couldn’t find Tide so used 3/4 teaspoon of Oxyclean in my crosswave to clean my wood floors in the main rooms. The tank water was a dark gray even though I had just cleaned the floors! Any powder detergent and hot water probably works, not just Tide. I have a big tub of Oxcylean so going to keep using it.
