I don't understand why they moved it to California. It was shot in Australia, and obviously looks nothing like CA. People would like it just as well in Australia!

What do you think of Asher’s accent in this? It sounds not quite American to me. Is it purposeful? I’ve only seen the first episode so far.

I actually loved the music on White Lotus. It really helped set the atmosphere for the entire series.

yes! DH and I were actually commenting that they look like false teeth. It makes her entire face look a little off or strange.

I wasn’t expecting anything really, and watched all three episodes straight through last night. It was good.

Watched the first episode. I’m into it.

The book was terrible, I hope the show is better

It’s gotten bad reviews, but I watched the first episode tonight and thought it was fine. And none of that overpowering White Lotus music!

I have to wait for all episodes. Otherwise I can’t keep the shows straight!

Im watching later tonight after dinner and I can’t wait!! Now that The White Lotus is over I think this is going to be my new show!

I watched all 3 episodes released on Hulu today. I enjoyed it-- similar to White Lotus. The WP had an article in its Style section about it today. It said White Lotus was superior to it + was "loving on " White Lotus Director Mike White.

Anyone watching? Thoughts?
