I was accepted to shared risk at 33 but then when I wanted to try again at 37 I was rejected for low AFC and a bad AMH.

I'm also at Shady Grove and in Shared Risk, but I think after age and maybe AMH the eligibility criteria are a little case-by-case. But I don't think 2 prior failed FETs would disqualify you.

I can only speak to my experience. I was accepted for shared risk at 39, am now 40. My numbers were all "good" and our infertility was unexplained. It is secondary infertility - we have a son and got pregnant one other time on our own prior to IVF, which was a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks. That said, we have done two rounds with them and have not gotten any viable embryos, so shared risk acceptance isn't always a guarantee.

NP, also curious. We are considering moving to SG for shared risk, but not worth it if they exclude for prior IVF transfer not working.

Does anyone have info on some of the shared risk criteria Shady Grove uses aside from age? If you've done IVF at another clinic and it didn't work (1 retrieval with 2 FETs), is that an automatic out? I saw from CCRM that their Refund program does not allow for a prior IVF "failure", but I"m unclear what really defines a fail and if Shady Grove has the same criteria. Is a fail any transfer that doesn't lead to a live birth, regardless of specifics? Any info would be great, the wait list to get an appointment at Shady Grove is a few months and if we don't qualify anyway then we could keep going at our existing clinic without waiting.
