Stay away - unqualified trainers with zero to no experience. These guys hire anyone, make you follow a cookie-cutter program, and that's it.

Much better off going with a qualified trainer who knows what they are talking about.

My husband went with a trainer at the DC location. I was extremely unimpressed with the advice he got both on nutrition and training. I do not have an impression the trainers are very qualified. But if you are looking for someone to keep you accountable on a crash diet that they design for you, it might be your place.

Can you recommend a personal trainer?

Agree with this. It took me longer than 12 weeks but I did what these guys advertise on my own. We order territory meals and eat those mostly for lunch. Absolutely love them and it’s been very helpful in completely changing how I eat.

Where did you get that number? I looked it up before and this is what I found for last year https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/online-personal-trainer#product-list which was about $760 for 3 mo which would be worth it.

PP who said $5K here. The $760 price, I believe, is for virtual workouts (like they give you a plan) and no nutrition plan. The $5K price is for 12 weeks in person 4 times a week personal trainer plus personalized nutrition plan and ongoing contact - like they call to check in on you. I forget where I saw that price but it has been reported in British press as well for over 5K pounds.

The nutrition is where you get the most out of your workouts and requires a separate discipline. Been working on meal planning and prep as much as possible and cooking all our food at home. Will know I’m another month or so if I hit my goal.

That sounds pretty amazing to me. I've had a personal trainer for a couple years and have always thought that I need to integrate the nutrition part into it. Let us know how it works for you!

Does anyone have experience with Ultimate Performance? They appear to be a personal training gym and give you nutrition plans. 12 week "transformation". Lots of impressive before/after photos on their website. I assume it is $$$
