Take a pass. I have a Lazy Boy sofa and a small recliner in a room that doesn’t see a lot of wear. They don’t look terrible, but I expected that they would hold up better considering that they are not used daily. Spend a little more and get something better quality if you can.

LB is average furniture, but for the right area of the home it can be cost-effective and comfortable. For the best deals snd quickest delivery, purchase the default color and options. For this type/quality of furniture, upgrades are a waste of money.

I have a lazy boy couch that is about 14 years old. It was the first “real” piece of furniture I got and it has stood up to a move, 2 kids, and a dog. It’s a sleeper sofa but to be honest we only ever used the pull out once or twice. My dad has lazy boy recliners that are 30+ years old and have been reupholstered once or twice. Not sure if quality is the same as years ago. Hard to know until a similar number of years go by..l

We have an L shaped couch and 2 recliners from them that are about 20 years old. LOVE them! The recliners have gotten less use than the couch and so look better but the couch is still pretty good - this is after 20 years of kids and dogs. Amazing. I do steam clean the cushions every month or so. It's astonishing how dusty cloth furniture can get.

Ours are exactly 20 years old. We have 3 kids, oldest is 15. The couches have been constantly used, kids have been kids on them and other than a few worn spots on the fabric and a few spots where the stuffing has been compressed a lot they are still working well. Lifetime guarantee on the mechanism, we have had them repaired a couple of times over the years but everything is working properly today. Ours are all manual, not sure if they have powered stuff now or how well that lasts.

They are not the same as years ago.

I looked at them last January. Made horribly. And pricey.

I LOVED our giant la-z-bit and was sad when we moved and no longer had room for it. That thing was fantastic!

12 years for a couch and recliner, still in great condition! Their customer service is fantastic. An arm broke on our recliner this year (our fault, kid was climbing on it). They pulled up our warranty from 12 years ago in the system, sent someone to the house for free, and I only paid for a replacement part.

We had a lazy boy reclining (but not electric) sofa for about 16 years. It did break this year, but I think its great we got so many years out of it. We had an even older recliner. DH had it before he even met, me so I'm not sure how old it is, at least 20 years old. It got used a lot and never broke nor did the fabric tear. We finally got rid of it about 2 years ago because we really didn't have a good place for it anymore and it was looking a bit old to me.

I almost bought a new sofa from there. I had no concerns about the quality. And their gel cushions are awesome! I just found another one I liked slightly better.

I had a negative opinion of them as low-tier until 2-3 months ago when we went to a store. We went to the store in Kingstowne. It was pretty impressive.

They just delivered one of their recliners to my great-aunt a few weeks ago - one of those that is for the elderly that tilts you up and out of your seat when you have trouble standing. So far so good. She got a leather-type version and you would never look at it and think "cheap" or "La-Z-Boy" imo. There are heated and vibrating versions. All of the reviews were stellar and from what we've seen they have been on the mark.

They had other furniture there that I looked at and thought "hhhmmmm, that looks nice!" I would consider their furniture for our house if we need something.

We have lazy boy recliners in our basement that are still comfortable and functional after 15 years. We have newer ones too in our den that don’t really look like lazy boy. We love them.

Never owned Lazy Boy furniture in the past but thinking about spending $6k on a sofa and two leather side chairs.
How’s their general product quality?
